Yes! Meadows Baptist Church pays for the meal. There is no catch and no sermon—just good food and genuine conversation with a new friend.

How does Free Lunch Tag work?

1. Someone from Meadows Baptist Church hands you a numbered tag. 2. Visit freelunchtag.com and enter your card code. 3. You'll see the contact info of the person who tagged you. 4. Text them to set up a time to grab lunch—they pay!

What's the catch? Why are you doing this?

There's no catch! We believe God is relational—He wants to be friends with us, not just preach at us. So we're following His example by loving our neighbors with a good meal and genuine conversation. No hidden agenda, just friendship.

Who is behind Free Lunch Tag?

Free Lunch Tag is a community project sponsored by Meadows Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Our members volunteer to hand out tags and buy meals for new friends in our community.

What happens after I have lunch?

That's up to you! We hope you made a new friend. If you'd like, you can bring your tag to Meadows Baptist Church on Wednesday at 6pm or Sunday at 9:30am if you would like to visit. But there's no obligation—the free lunch is the whole thing.

Where can I use the free lunch tag?

You and your new friend can go to any restaurant you'd like in the Plano, TX area. Tacos, burgers, coffee, pizza—whatever sounds good to both of you!

Hyper Fenton (Seth Fenton) is a music artist and pastor at Meadows Baptist Church, right across the street from Plano East Senior High School. He’s always inviting people around town to grab lunch, hear their story, and get to know them.

Free Lunch Tag grew out of that simple habit. Now a team of Meadows hosts is extending the invitation: a free meal, a real conversation, and a new friend.

We follow Jesus, and we want to love our neighbors. You don’t have to attend church to accept the invitation.
